BTKOG

Billy the Kid Outlaw Gang (BTKOG) is a non-profit New Mexico Historical Society organization. Its members are not only New Mexico residents, but include anyone who wants to preserve and promote the history of Billy "the Kid" Bonney, his era and New Mexico. Its many members are from all over the U.S.A. and far beyond.
 

In this 18th issue’s FOCUS Page:

  • Dead Famous — relates the adventures of the British "Dead Famous" TV film crew during their January visit to Lincoln County to interview BTKOG president, Joe Hesseling, and film their segment on Billy the Kid, to be televised soon in the USA on the Discovery Channel.

  • New Mexico's Rose Parade Float — Two articles by syndicated columnist Jay Miller, which previously appeared in various New Mexico newspapers, accompanied by photos from Joe Miccalizzi's Rose Parade Float website--reprinted herein by permission of Jay Miller and Joe Miccalizzi.

  • USDA's Current Drought Maps of New Mexico, effective January 13, 2006

    Water -- our state's most important resource -- continues to be a serious issue. Years of inadequate moisture continues to cause drought conditions throughout most of the state.
